Why is it so difficult for women to find self love? It's almost like an act of defiance.

We find it so difficult for a million reasons - but mostly, I think, because we’ve been taught, generation after generation, to give love before we’re ever allowed to receive it, even from ourselves. So yes, it’s an act of defiance - but more than that, it’s an act of recalibration. A sacred rewriting of accepted norms that never served us, into ones that finally feel true to our souls. Thank you for seeing me, for holding this with me, and for always loving me through every version of myself. I love you ❤️
